Tyler Hinton is an athletic high school sophomore in Lafayette, Colorado. Only instead of trying out for a varsity sport, he is training hard to become an Olympic-caliber C1 slalom racer. Hinton is one of the United States' highest-ranked junior canoeists, and he recently received the River Meister Award, Colorado's most prestigious high school paddling honor.  Watch this video clip from www.jookt.com.
